FROM BEYOND: Arcade Edition is a synthrock album inspired arcade shoot ’em up. Every track becomes a level in a rock and roll alien invasion.
Halloween night, 1986. Listeners of local heavy metal station 96.6 The Lazer begin reporting mysterious lights in the sky. DJ Nasty Nick Nash unknowingly narrates the last broadcast on Earth. Tune in as the new BCVHS album soundtracks an alien invasion… FROM BEYOND!
ON BOARD
- Ten tracks. Ten levels. Play through BCVHS’s concept album and shoot the lyrics as they scroll up the screen.
- Keep the record playing. No traditional game overs. Finish Story Mode to unlock Arcade Mode, replay your favorite tracks, and chase a higher score.
- Enemies move to the music. Each song has its own enemies, formations, and colors, synced to the beat.
- Just here for the album? Switch on Peaceful Mode, turn off the enemies, and cruise.
- Make the ship yours. Trade space collectibles for ship designs, colors, and bullet trails.
